Need Volunteers for NNO !

Description: National Night Out logo

The introduction of National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime”, in 1984 began an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. 1. I have marked my calendar to help out with handing out school supplies. I am thinking we need to do more to keep this kids busy, not bored. Wish there was a way to have the kids take more pride in their schools.. My husband suggested that have the kids on week ends or after school hours spruce up the outside of the buildings. The school on Ashland looks like a prison he noted. If they planted some flowers outside, maybe even some above ground vegetable gardens, they could have a better feeling about themselves. Take pride in the way the place looks, might inspire them to look at themselves too.Nothing better than digging in the earth, and seeing how God’s works his plans. Mary
