Please join us for the 23rd annual Americana World Festival “Where Louisville Meets the World” held Saturday June 1st at a new venue – the beautiful Iroquois Amphitheater! Organized by Americana Community Center, this annual festival shares and celebrates the rich and diverse cultural heritages of our city. The event features all day entertainment, ethnic cuisine, craft vendors, community resource booths, activities for children and a raffle.

Our founding sponsor ValuMarket will be selling their famous Cubano Sandwich among other delicious items. Additional food vendors include Churreria Rabbit (delicious churros!), Liberian cuisine, Lopez Foods, and the Root Cellar selling fresh fruit and vegetables. Food trucks will also be on hand including Moe-Licious BBQ, Genius In a Box, and to complete your meal, the Louisville Dessert Truck.

Congressman John Yarmuth will be joining us at 11:50 a.m. before Louisville favorite “The Monarchs” perform, and Mayor Greg Fischer will give brief remarks at 2:30 p.m. This year there will be TWO stages of performances.

Throughout the day gift certificates and prizes from an array of local businesses will be raffled off with a grand prize of $500. Prizes include gift certificates from Sunergos Coffee, Carmichael’s Bookstore, Heine Brothers & Bluegrass Burgers, tickets to the Louisville Ballet, Louisville Bats & Actor’s Theater, and much more! Tickets are $1 per chance and can be purchased prior to the festival at the ValuMarket in Iroquois Manor or the day of the festival at the Americana booth. You do not need to be present to win. Festival t-shirts will also be for sale at the Americana booth.

Thank you to our generous sponsors for making this event possible!
