South Louisville Outdoor Walkers – This Saturday

This is a group started by Rick and Donna Pickerill and is completely free … this isn’t a speed race,  just a way to get some exercise. Just show up and walk.

250px-Cave_hill-reworkS.L.O.W. members– this weeks walk will take place in Cave Hill Cemetery,  located at 701 Baxter Avenue. (Intersection of Broadway, Baxter and Cherokee Road). Go through the gates at the entrance and we will try to park on the right side of the roadway leading through the cemetery.  The walk is at 9:30 a.m. Saturday April 6, 2013.  We will have some fun and try to have a scavenger hunt, locating some of the monuments and tombstones of famous people buried at the cemetery.  The weather is going to be nice, so come out and get a little exercise at one of the nicest places to walk in Louisville.   See you Saturday……………..
