NPAS is hiring Collection Specialists

NPAS is looking for people who want to excel in the role of Collection Specialist. You’ll do follow-up calling to assist customers who have outstanding balances on hospital bills.

You’ll received top-notch training to prepare you to be successful in your work.

You’ll be working Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no weekend work!

Mayor’s Sales Career Institute

The next class for the Mayor’s Sales Career Institute will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, at Memorial Auditorium, 970 S 4th Street from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

If you have a desire to work in sales and are ready to show your sales abilities to employers, this is the training program for you! KentuckianaWorks Scholarships for Healthcare and Information Technology Careers

Do you want help with college or job training expenses? Then check out this information about KentuckianaWorks Scholarships.

If you live in Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble counties, are unemployed or underemployed and are interested in a healthcare or information technology (IT) career, you may qualify for a KentuckianaWorks Scholarship. Each Scholarship provides up to $4,000 for tuition and $600 for books and other supportive services per year, up to two years. Funds can be used to complete a college degree, get an associate degree or enroll in job training.

KentuckianaWorks Scholarships totaling $435,000 is available for training in healthcare careers such as Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Secretary, Pharmacy Technician, Medical/Clinical lab Technician and Technologist, and Respiratory Therapist.

An additional $50,000 is available for information technology training in Certified Information Systems Security Professional, A+, Network+, and Security+, Computer Networking certifications and Computer Programming.
