Job Fair For Young Adults – 16 to 21 – February 16th

WHAT:           Eighth Annual Mayor’s Youth Opportunity Showcase, a job fair for young

adults, age 16-21, in the Louisville area


WHEN:           Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


WHERE:         Kentucky International Convention Center

Exhibit Hall 1 A/B

221 S. 4th St., Louisville, KY


WHY:             This event gives young adults a chance to apply for part-time, summer and

some full-time jobs, as well as learn about educational and volunteer



HOW:             This year, the Mayor’s Youth Opportunity Showcase is a kick-off to The

Mayor’s SummerWorks Program for 2013, which is entering its third year

of providing meaningful summer employment to Greater Louisville young

adults. Those attending should come dressed to interview with employers

and have their I.D.s and copies of their resumes.

Jan. 21, 2013, for Workforce Readiness Training prior to attending the Mayor’s Youth Opportunity Showcase. Successful completion of the training qualifies each young adult for VIP access to the Showcase and is the first step in registering the youth in the SummerWorks2013 program.
