SHAWNEE AND CHICKASAW PARKS ARE OPEN MARCH 31ST, 2012. THEY WILL
REMAIN OPEN, UNLESS A PUBLIC SAFETY RISK IS IDENTIFIED BY THE
LOUISVILLE METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT.
PERMITS WILL NOT BE NEEDED FOR BROADWAY ACCESS ON MARCH 31ST,
2012.
THERE WILL BE NO PARKING ON BROADWAY FROM 9th STREET/ROY WILKINS
BLVD. WEST TO 34TH STREET BEGINNING SATURDAY, MARCH 31ST, 2012 AT 4 PM
TO SUNDAY, APRIL 1ST AT 7:00 AM AND MONDAY, APRIL 2ND AT 5:00 PM TO
TUESDAY, APRIL 3RD AT 7:00 AM.
THERE WILL ALSO BE NO PARKING ON 9TH STREET FROM BROADWAY TO
MARKET STREET MARCH 31ST
ON STREET PARKING PERMITTED ON BROADWAY – 9TH STREET EAST TO
BAXTER AVENUE AND 34TH STREET WEST TO SOUTHWESTERN PKWY.
The City of Louisville and the Louisville Metro Police Department’s primary concern is public
safety during the NCAA Celebration Festivities. Louisville Metro Police Officers will be on site on
this day to assist the community in making it safe and enjoyable. The Louisville Metro Police
Department will also focus on preventing inconvenience to those that live within our community
and those visiting our city.

Beechmont / Brightside Cleanup

Beechmont Neighborhood Association is sponsoring a Clean-up & partnering with Brightside. We will meet on Saturday, April 14 at 8am in the vacant lot across from Thorntons on 3rd Street. BNA will provide coffee & doughnuts.
The entrance & exit ramps and the surrounding green space need the most attention.
