Good Eats in the Neighborhood – Cuban Sandwich

I’m sure most of the long time residents know this but, our own ValuMarket in Iroquois Plaza makes a terrific Cuban Sandwich for $5.99. Cuban Sandwich
This will feed two hungry people with no problem and is made while you wait. The sandwich is on Cuban bread with a generous helping of pulled pork, a piece of ham, cheese, and dill pickle with a slathering of yellow mustard. This is all toasted on the grill like a panini. Another great aspect of living in a diverse neighborhood is you can get ethnic snacks to eat with your cuban sandwich. I chose Chicharrones with Chili and Lemon.

Watch out those Chicharrones have a bit of a bite to them.
